SPAR provides a range of specialist services. Our archaeological services cover a full range of field activities from reconnaissance survey and assessments to excavation. We have knowledge and experience in New Zealand heritage legislation – Historic Places Act 1993, Resource Management Act 1991 and Protected Objects Act 1975 – and provide fast and accurate advice to clients in all aspects of heritage management planning. We also provide specialist laboratory services for post-excavation analysis including zooarchaeological analysis, artefact analysis and collections management.
